BMTPA
The BMTPA held it annual meeting November 14th. Elections were held and Gary Davis was elected as President, remaining as Vice president Steve Reineke and Marshall Foiles Secretary/Treasurer.
Old business was discussed and a new rule was added, “No 5 inch Bore spaced Blocks will be aloud to run in the class”.
The biggest change this year is the BMTPA will not be putting on its own pulls. We will become part of the Central Ohio Tractor Pullers Association (COTPA). Our class rules will be used for the new COTPA 2 wheel drive class. The class will be called the “Buckeye Modified 2 Wheel Drives”.
This decision did not come about without a lot of discussion and was finally presented as a motion, and the passed with out opposition.
Gary Davis our Class President has been appointed to the COTPA Board and will represent the class at all board meetings and the Fair Managers Convention. If Gary is unable to attend Steve Reineke will be his alternate.
This change was made to help strengthen both clubs in hopes of growing our class and expanding the COTPA class offerings.
In the past both clubs have worked closely together, the BMTPA has used the COTPA classes at our club pulls and the COTPA has used the BMTPA at their club pulls. It makes sense to join forces to help us expand and grow truck and tractor pulling in Ohio!
The cost for Dues and Insurance will be announced as soon as we receive the information.
We will continue to Tech and pump trucks at your home, the cost is $30.00 to the tech man, or you can bring your truck to Marshall Foiles farm and have your truck pumped for free. To schedule a visit call Danny Harner at 937-732-0607 or Marshall Foiles at 937-572-9418
All trucks must be pumped before you can pull at any event.
